Lighting an outdoor event
Work outward from the areas guests use, then add anything decorative once the useful light is covered.
Over the tables
String lights strung above the seating area give even, warm light that photographs well.
The bar and buffet
These are work areas. They need brighter, more direct light than the dining space.
Paths and steps
Any change in grade needs light. Backyard events in Denver often have a step or slope guests cannot see.
Power planning
Confirm outlets and circuits early. A long run from the house may need an extension plan or a generator.

Common questions
Do you install the lighting?
Installation is available as an add-on and is quoted with your rental. Standard delivery drops the lighting on site for you to hang.
What kind of power do string lights need?
Most string light runs work on a standard household circuit, but long runs and multiple strands can add up. Tell us your layout and we will flag it if a generator makes sense.
Can lights be used inside a tent?
Yes. Frame and pop-up tents give you a structure to hang from, and hanging inside the tent keeps the fixtures out of the weather.
What happens if it rains?
Our outdoor lighting is rated for outdoor use. Cover any exposed connections and power strips, and we will talk through placement when you book.
How early should I book lighting?
Three to four weeks out during peak season from May through October. Same-day delivery is possible on in-stock items.
How much does event lighting cost in Denver?
Lighting is priced per item, per day, with the price shown on the product page. Delivery and pickup are a flat $199, included on orders over $1,000.
How we take care of you
We do not rent equipment. We help people create memories. That shows up in four commitments we hold ourselves to on every single order.
Clean and inspected
Every item is cleaned, inspected, and counted before it leaves our warehouse. If something is not right, we replace it.
On time, or we make it right
We deliver inside the window we promised. If we are running behind, you hear it from us first, not after the fact.
One person who knows your event
You get a real contact who has read your order, knows your venue, and can answer a question the day of.
We own problems through resolution
Weather turns, guest count changes, a venue moves your load-in. We solve it with you instead of pointing at a contract.
